2023 Wooly Bully Races
Please note that the ferry over to Amherst Island runs on the half hour from the Millhaven dock on Highway 33 just east of Bath, Ontario. The 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. ferries will get you to the race in plenty of time. The 9:30 a.m. ferry will not. The ferry leaves from the Stella dock on the hour. Car pooling is encouraged, if you feel comfortable doing this.
RACE DETAILS
Every kilometre in both the 5 and 10K will be marked. There will be 2 water stations. 10K runners can access fluid at 4 times, 5K runners twice.
Awards:
10K – 1st male and female overall and top 3 in the following categories:
19&under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+
5K – 1st male and female overall and first place in the following categories:
14 & under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 plus
Post race refreshments will be served to all runners.
Overall and age category prizes as well as draw prizes will be awarded after the race. Final event details will be e-mailed out during the week leading up to race day.

TRI-ISLAND SERIES
The 10K is also the final race in the KRRA sponsored ‘Tri-Island Series,’ which includes the ‘Howe Island Hustle’ 8K and the ‘Wolfe Island 5K.’ Runners who complete all 3 races will receive their ‘Tri-Island Series’ medal after the Wooly Bully races at our awards ceremony.
FEES:
19 Years and Under: $20. 19 &Under, KRRA Members: $15.
20 Years and Older: $45. 20 Years and Older, KRRA Members: $40
1K Fun Run – Children 5-12 years of age: $10
Registration for the live event will close late Friday, August 18th.
Race kit pickup and final race registration will be at Runner’s Choice, 56 Brock Street, Kingston, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19th.
Kits can also be picked up at the event site on race day commencing at 8:00 a.m.

The Wooly Bully Races are an Athletics Ontario sanctioned event. Athletics Ontario is the provincial governing body for the sport of Athletics, which includes track and field, cross-country, racewalking, road and mountain/ultra/trail running. AO offers a variety of programming and resources including grassroot youth track and field to cross-country; coach and official training; and club, training program and running race organization membership – all to underpin its vision and mission of supporting and fostering growth in participation in our sport of Athletics.
