Amherst Island Winter Festival
The Amherst Island Winter Festival is a full-day of fun for the whole family! All are welcome.
Schedule of events:
- 9 am-10:30 am – Pancake Breakfast at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church – (by donation)
- 10 am-noon – Children’s Crafts drop-in snowflake and valentines crafting at the Neilson Store Museum & Cultural Centre (free!)
- 10 am – Car Rally, 10 am registration at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, approximately 1 1/2-hour tour following a provided guide. Terrific prizes to be won (free!)
- 11 am-1 pm – Organ Concert with host John Hall at St. Alban’s Anglican Church (free!)
- Noon-3 pm – Topsy Farms, interact with animals and walk nature trails. Come and explore the beauty of Mother Nature in winter (free!)
- 2 pm-3:30 pm – Everyone Has a Story Fireside Chat, at the Neilson Store Museum & Cultural Centre (free!)
- 2 pm-5 pm – Cards and Games at The Lodge on Amherst Island (free!)
- 5 pm-11 pm – Pub Night at The Lodge on Amherst Island ($5 cover for adults)
- 5 pm-7 pm is all-ages, featuring a cash bar and a BBQ with burgers and sausages (cash only)
- 7 pm-11 pm is 19+ with hot snacks until 10 pm (cash only), along with an island playlist and open mic.
