Amherst Island runs on people who decide that something matters enough to lend a hand. You do not need to know everyone, have endless free time, or arrive with a committee title already embroidered on your shirt.
Start with the right-sized yes
Volunteering can mean serving on a board, but it can just as reasonably mean two hours setting up tables, sharing professional advice, teaching someone a skill, fixing a stubborn hinge, or helping at one event.
